The perfect basis for value-added printing: Pantos implements the campaign UPM Finesse “True Consistency” for UPM Kymmene

Pantos designed and implemented for UPM Kymmene, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of papers for the graphics industry, a new campaign for the premium brand UPM Finesse. The centrepiece of the campaign is the brochure “TRUE CONSISTENCY” which impressively demonstrates the repositioning of UPM Finesse, the paper with the absolutely consistently high quality, on 52 pages.

Pantos’ strategy for defining UPM Finesse as the quality constant for demanding print production sums up the repositioning in a nutshell. The creative concept is based on this and depicts various constant fixed points in an entertaining manner, from constants of day-to-day life to constants in physics and nature.

Through the extremely sophisticated implementation of the realisation with regard to image reproduction, pre-press, print and print refining to bookbinding processing, the positioning of UPM Finesse as the quality constant in print is credibly documented. Elaborate lacquer techniques, hot foils and cold foils, Iriodin pigments, special colours, embossing and stamping are used at the highest technical levels. This has resulted in a brochure offering many suggestions for the specialist world of the print industry, with diverse motifs in inspiring print technology. Pantos is also responsible for the technical implementation, starting with the detailed planning of the comprehensive production steps to the quality assurance on site in the printing shop.
